The Coal Pension Trustees were keen to find a partner to help them drive insight and interaction with members across their Mineworkers Pension Scheme (MPS) and their British Coal Staff Superannuation Scheme (BCSSS) websites. For too long both schemes had been running with very little data or tracking around member usage and online functionality.

Sparks delivered a proposal based on using analytics along with WAVE testing to review accessibility, with recommendations to redesign and relaunch websites for both MPS and BCSSS. Both sites were also built with opportunities for data capture to help British Coal gain valuable insights on members and begin the process of profile and persona building. Since our appointment we’ve also been given the opportunity to deliver all scheme communication across print and digital channels, developing compelling campaigns and film material to drive engagement and impact.
